The anti-shock and anti-vibration mounting system makes DSE's ruggedized computers the ideal choice for rugged outdoor mobile applications. The compact size of the vehicle mount computer is smaller than a typical notebook computer, allowing for concealed installation in any available mounting location. An auto rugged car computer supports both an LVDS monitor (DSE’s AWM “L” Series) and a standard RGB monitor (DSE’s AWM “R", ”V", and "VR" Series) simultaneously, allowing for flexible dual monitor applications. Supporting up to a 2.4GHz CPU (Ultra-Low Voltage), the rugged VMC Computer draws minimal power and is available with an easy access quick-release shock mount.

DSE's Rugged Vehicle Mount Car Computer works in tandem with DSE's Sunlight Readable IP67 Flat Panel All Weather Monitors.
The VMC mobile computer is capable of dual monitor displays when partnered with the sunlight readable AWML and the rugged AWMR monitor or sealed AWMVR display series. The VMC automobile computer will also connect to any standard monitor via the VGA connector. Please note the dual monitor feature of DSE's VMC mobile computer is only possible when one monitor is a DSE AWML series sealed display.

 The nature of the Aerospace industry demands a robust hard disk drive (HDD) with the proven ability to withstand the harsh elements of avionics’ unique environment. DSE’s HDD is housed in a hermetically-sealed milled aluminum billet case; this airtight environment maintains HDD atmospheric pressure, managing the rapid changes in altitude possible with avionics.
