Case Studies & White Papers High Speed Imaging
Automotive, crash tests, sports, aviation, harsh environments, test ranges, name it and our high speed camera's can be used, as shown by the case studies below.
Also customized projects are very common and as these papers show, no project is impossible for AOS Technologies!

The X-CHASE is a handheld, self-contained high speed camera system to replace film-based cameras. Since film manufacturers have ceased the production of 16mm film recently, a digital replacement is finally available. The camera records a number of (customer settable) sub-buffers, which are automatically downloaded to the built-in CF card, and returns automatically to record mode after the data download is completed. A full CF card can be exchanged with an empty one in less than 15 seconds. |

Mass Rapid Transport operators have to balance the costs for inspection and maintenance with the reliability and performance of their system. Inspecting the extensive track systems for defects and imperfections to determine repair- and maintenance jobs is a must, but inspection costs have to be kept on a minimum. Archiving the inspection data for later reference is also a must.

Monitoring the bottling process in the beverage industries Bottling lines are running at 30,000 bottles per hour or faster. Deviations or failures are not visible with the human eye, nor can they be recorded with conventional cameras. Without seeing the cause of a malfunction, appropriate corrective action can not be taken

Automotive sled test application AOS Technologies is well known to provide engineering for special turn-key projects. The purpose of this project is to provide users an economical, comfortable setup for a camera system for sled test applications. All operation can be executed from the central control room. A camera system consists of up to 4 high speed cameras and a Hi-G hub. |
